These teas are the best for fall – warming, vitamin-packed, and absolutely delicious! Teas to die for during the autumn season))
When fall arrives, all I want to do is wrap my hands around a warm mug, snuggle under a blanket, and watch the leaves dancing outside the window.
Fall is when these fragrant teas become part of my daily outfit)).
My family usually finds me at home looking exactly like this: wearing my favorite soft cardigan (I’ve had it for years and it still brings me the same cozy comfort) with a steaming mug in my hands.
I grip it tightly with both palms because I want to:
- Absorb all that healing warmth from my hot tea
- Help my body fight off those pesky viruses that love cold weather
- Create magical moments for heart-to-heart conversations
- Take a moment just for me (even if it’s tiny!) to think, slow down from the daily chaos, and find something beautiful in every moment…
Why Do We Need Fall At All?
Nature created autumn to gently prepare us for winter – with all the cold, vitamin deficiencies, and mood dips that come with it.
Fall is transformation time.
After an active, hot summer, we need to shift into slow, cold winter mode. Autumn helps us make this switch smoothly, following nature’s rhythms instead of fighting them.
When we create special autumn rituals (like these warming, fragrant teas), we make nature our ally. We work with her, not against her.
Fall can be our helper. It gives us a chance to slow down and see HOW beautiful the world around us really is. When we respect nature’s rhythms, let go of what was, and live with gratitude and joy, even this season (which makes many people feel blue) can be warm and positive.
Who’s with me? Grab your mugs – let’s have some tea!
What Makes the Perfect Autumn Tea?
Warm – like a soft, fluffy blanket to comfort you from the cold and drizzle
Vitamin-rich – to stock up on nutrients and stay healthy all fall and winter
Aromatic – bright and surprising, just like autumn itself!
These teas are absolutely perfect for fall! But you can totally drink them any time you want something warm, cozy, and delicious.
Plus, these teas are packed with vitamins and minerals! So they’re also super beneficial in winter and especially in spring.
These autumn teas are great for:
- Preventing colds (along with other ways to stay healthy when everyone’s getting sick)
- Those moments when you feel cold creeping up and need to take action fast. These teas work well with a hot bath with this “Cold season” bath salt, for example, or an “urgently drunk” portion of this super shot for immunity (it’s 10 times more powerful than normal one!).
Apple Cinnamon Tea
This tea is totally versatile:
- You can make it any time (the ingredients are always available), but it’s amazingly AUTUMN-Y
- Besides its magical taste, it helps when your throat hurts or your nose is stuffy
- You can prep it ahead and even make it into a cute gift (using all dried ingredients)
- It’s the least exotic option – ingredients most of us already have
- You can easily adapt it to your needs. Use green tea or holy basil to boost your energy throughout the day, or chamomile to relax in the evening.

What you’ll need:
- 1 apple
- 2 cups water
- ½ tsp green tea (or one of the alternatives listed above)
- 1 cinnamon stick (make sure it’s real cinnamon!)
- 1 inch fresh ginger (start with ½ inch if you don’t use ginger often)
- 4 black peppercorns (red or white work too)
- Honey (optional)
- Lemon juice (optional)
How to make it: Slice the apple into thin pieces. Break the cinnamon stick into chunks (it should break easily if you chose real cinnamon instead of cassia).
Add the tea, finely chopped ginger, and pepper. Pour in the water.
Put it on the stove. As soon as it boils, turn off the heat and let it steep covered for 7-10 minutes.
Strain it, pour into mugs, and add lemon (if your apples weren’t tart) and honey if you want. But only add honey to warm tea (not hot!) to keep all its amazing benefits.
For a prettier look, use glass mugs and add a few extra apple slices and a cinnamon stick right in the cup!
Sea Buckthorn Tea
Even the color screams autumn! Fall always makes me think of yellow and orange, right?))
This is all thanks to sea buckthorn, the secret Nordic super berry.
Fun fact: its Latin name (hippophae) comes from ancient Greek words meaning “Sunny or Shining Horse” – pretty amazing, right?
Besides its elegant taste and the instant mood boost from just looking at it, sea buckthorn tea is incredibly healthy:
- Natural immune booster and great cold prevention (tons of vitamin C)!!!
- Helps fight stress, exhaustion, and seasonal blues
- Reduces heart disease risk by strengthening blood vessels (thanks to vitamins P and C)
- Even helps with weight loss! It lowers cholesterol and speeds up metabolism
When used as an oil, it’s a magical face serum that reduces wrinkles and gives your skin a super glow!

What you’ll need:
- 6 tbsp sea buckthorn powder
- 1 inch fresh ginger root
- ½ lemon (optional)
- 1 sprig mint (optional)
- Honey (optional)
- 4 cups boiling water
How to make it:
Thinly slice the ginger (you can leave the skin on) and pour boiling water over it.
After 5 minutes, add the sea buckthorn powder and more boiling water.
In a couple minutes, add lemon and mint if you want. Add honey only to warm tea (not hot!) so it keeps all its magical, healthy properties.
Done! Your golden happiness is ready!
Pomegranate Tea
Pomegranate is another autumn wonder! Everyone knows how healthy it is.
But most people only know the seeds and juice – they completely ignore the peel. Big mistake! The peel is super valuable too! In this tea, we use pomegranate’s full potential.
Add some spices (you remember how beneficial they are for immunity, right?), and you get a super-blend that’s:
- Excellent cold prevention
- Heart protector and supporter
- Famous anemia fighter (really boosts hemoglobin – a huge issue for most women right now)
- Even fights plaque buildup (pomegranate polyphenols kill harmful mouth bacteria)
- Best part – with all those antioxidants and minerals, it’s our beauty and anti-aging superstar for skin and hair, especially when used as oil!

I have two ways to make pomegranate tea:
Method #1: Easier but longer – No need to separate the seeds. More intense flavor.
Method #2: Faster but more work – Takes less time but you need just the seeds (which requires time and skill). Though I learned an easy way to get them out – I’ll share that trick below!
Pomegranate Tea Method #1
What you’ll need:
- 1 pomegranate (with peel)
- 4 cups water
- 1 tbsp Earl Grey tea
- Spices (optional, but really beneficial):
- 1 sprig rosemary (or 1 tsp dried)
- 5 peppercorns
- 8 cloves
- 2 cardamom pods
- 1 cinnamon stick (or 1 tsp ground)
- 1 star anise
How to make it: Wash the pomegranate well. Cut it (peel and all!) into 4 pieces and cover with water. Put on low heat and simmer about 10 minutes.
Add tea and spices. Simmer on the lowest heat for just 1-2 more minutes. Pick whichever spices you like, but remember – the more spices you use, the more health benefits you get!
When the tea turns brown, it’s time to turn off the heat.
Strain and pour into mugs. Ready!
Pomegranate Tea Method #2
What you’ll need:
- 1 pomegranate (seeds only!)
- 4 cups water
- 1 tbsp green tea or Earl Grey
- Same spices as above (optional)
How to make it: First, you need to get the pomegranate seeds out. It’s actually pretty easy.
How to remove pomegranate seeds:
- Cut off the “crown”
- Make 4 vertical cuts (from top to bottom). Cut just the skin – don’t damage the seeds
- Fill a large bowl with water (this prevents splashing, but you can skip it once you get the hang of it)
- Put your hands and the pomegranate in the water and open it along your cuts
- Gently remove the seeds with your fingers
- Seeds sink to the bottom, peel and white parts float on top
- Just strain out the seeds
Lightly crush the seeds with a mortar so they release their juice.
Pour boiling water over them, add tea and spices (your choice – you can skip spices in this version) and wait 5-7 minutes.
Pour and enjoy!
Wishing you a warm and fragrant autumn!
